Congratulations to all my teammates on a great year. For those not playing fall ball get some rest because we are in it to win it next year.

I think people should realize too that if you choose the first option (At someone's house) then you should also be offering up your house when the time comes for the party Smile

Results pending for Solek, Franco and Haynes (updated)

MembersDuring the 9:00pm coed game last night for the club, outfielder Bryan Solek and infielders Ryan Phelps-Franco and AJ Haynes suffered injuries serious enough to warrant medical examinations both during and after the game.

In the first inning, on a pop fly ball, Phelps-Franco and Solek collided in the middle of the outfield. Franco was able to walk off the field and was checked out by Albany EMS staff in the dugout and was released to continue on in the game. Solek had to be carted off the field and was sent to Albany Medical Center by ambulance to receive further treatment. The initial diagnosis on the field was a dislocated knee, but team officials are awaiting to hear the results from the hospital.

Later on in the game, in making a catch on a foul ball, Haynes collided with the fence on the third base sideline and the opposing team's bat rack. While he stayed and finished out the game, after the game AJ was taken to the emergency room for evaluation on his ankle, which he injured during the play. Team officials are also awaiting to hear the results from his hospital visit as well.

As soon as the team hears anything on the status of these three players, we will let everyone know.

Update (7/8 11:15)
** AJ Haynes has been diagnosed with a mildly torn ligament in his right foot. The injury will not require surgery. Haynes has been placed on the team's 15-day DL.
** Ryan Phelps-Franco has been diagnosed with a deep bone bruise in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. X-rays are being sent out for review.
** Bryan Solek had an MRI done yesterday (7/7), with the results expected to be out on Thursday (7/9). The early diagnosis is either a stretched or torn ligament in his left knee.

You forgot to mention that while playing hurt. Haynes hit a fantastic line drive to left field. Legging out a Triple on his bum ankle and driving in 2 runs.

A triple? I saw a 2-run single with a 2-base error. Smile

Oh come on....That was at least a double with a lack of a throw to third

You know Yokohama would have rolled into third no problem.

Is that before or after the outfielder tripped and fell?
