I think people should realize too that if you choose the first option (At someone's house) then you should also be offering up your house when the time comes for the party

Coed team splits day/night doubleheader
Having had the first three games of their 4 day, 5 game road trip rained out, the Just a Bit Outside coed B2 team was just happy to be on the field, but were still thinking high of taking both games on Monday. While hopes of winning both games were crushed with a 10-6 defeat to We'll Take Five in the first game, the team rebounded nicely for a solid 9-4 victory over Social Blackout in the night cap.The team started out great in the first game, with the first four batters all scoring to take a 4-0 lead into the field. But that lead quickly evaporated as We'll Take Five scored 4 as well. JABO would score another run in the second and again in the third to take a 6-4 lead, but We'll Take Five scored in the final three innings, taking the lead for good with 3 in the bottom of the 4th for the 10-6 final margin.
Ryan Phelps-Franco, Scott Phillips and Scott Speciale each had 2 hits for JABO in the loss. Art Wise pitched well, but a few ill-timed defensive miscues didn't help out the aging pitcher.
In the second game, Social Blackout was able to capitalize on last minute call-up Tammy's rustiness on the mound as they jumped out to an early 1-0 lead. But triples by Franco and Frank Carr followed by a single from Tammy gave JABO a 2 - 1 lead. Social Blackout would tie the game at 2 with a run in the 3rd, but a 5-run outburst by the club in the bottom half of that inning put JABO ahead for what turned out to be the remainder of the game, giving them a 7-2 lead at that point. Social Blackout scored another run in the 5th, but the team responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th from a 3-run inside the park home run from mid-game replacement Chris Furman to make the score 10 - 3. A final run in the top of the 7th made the final score 10 - 4.
Frank Carr had an excellent game at the dish, going 3 for 3, all being extra base hits, scoring all three times and with three RBI's. Phelps-Franco, Tammy, Phillips and Chuck Rossbach had 2 hits a piece.
The coed teams' next game is on Monday, 8/31 against Polar Beverages (7-6) at Ridge Park #2. Game time is 6:00pm.
