Congratulations to all my teammates on a great year. For those not playing fall ball get some rest because we are in it to win it next year.

I think people should realize too that if you choose the first option (At someone's house) then you should also be offering up your house when the time comes for the party

Mens wins third straight in a dominating 21 - 4 outing
While it could probably be looked at as a "too little, too late" scenario, something has woken up the Just a Bit Outside Softball Club's Mens B3 team towards the end of this season. They won their fourth game of the seaosn, and third in a row, Wednesday night when they defeated Legion of Doom 21 - 4 at Mullens Park. The team jumped on the Legion of Doom pitching early and often, sending 10 batters to the plate each of the first two innings, scoring 5 in the first and 7 more in the second, capped off by an Art Wise 3-run home run (yes, an actual home run that went over the fence). The team put up 4 more runs in the third, and a final 5 runs in the fourth.
Everybody on the team had at least one hit in the game, and 10 out of the 11 players scored at least one run. Scott Phillips, Steve Wright and Wise reached base all four times up, while Steve Kawczak reached base all three times he was up.
The defense was led by the pitching performance of Chris Furman, who had a no hitter going through the fourth inning. He ended up giving up 4 runs on 5 hits, 3 walks and one strikeout. He was helped out by a great defense behind him, including some great plays in the outfield by Frank Carr and Wright, and in the infield by Ryan Phelps-Franco and Danny Benitez.
The team's final 2 games of the season are on Friday night, August 28 at Mullens Park. First game is scheduled for a 7:30 start against the Misfits (9-6). The second game will start approx. 15 minutes later against Poweralleys (6-8).
